   I see that they are in New York.

   I noticed because I recognized the buildings.

   There are two homless people, a man and woman.

   I think they are important because they are the people who get involved with the man with pockets.

    The message that is communicated in this film is that there are people in the world who have nothing but then there are doors that let you in or keep you out. When a door opens (a pocket) you can go through or stay back. When they want to keep you out, you burn it.
