    Its style is about resistance.
  2. What common themes in the topic or message does the artist's work have (in all the images)?
    Its topic is about peace and violence.
  3. (Hour 1 Students Only) Describe the features that make it clear that Shepard Fairy's work is vector art and often created using Adobe Illustrator.
    It is a drawing, not a photograph.
  4. What stood out the most when you first saw this image was...
    The girl in the middle of the image.

    She is wearing pretty flowers and looks hopeful yet lost.
  6. As I keep looking, what also seemed important was...
    The text, saying "Make Art, Not War"
  7. The thing I mentioned in number 4 seems important because...
    She might represent peace or she might be peace.

    By using similar opposites.
  9. What directs your attention from one point to another in the image?
    What draws my attention is that the peace sign is full of designs yet shows the Obey symbol inside the star.

    "Make War, Not Art"

    It was partially hidden because it is what Adolf Hitler would say.
  12. In a paragraph describe the main idea of what this artwork. What underlying message seems to be communicated. What is it designed to communicate or make you feel?

    What I think the main idea is that you should make art, but yet make war. I think you should fight your battles but yet let them go. And it says "Not War", but I think you sometimes have to fight to survive. And lastly, you should believe in peace on both sides, because nobody can make you believe something. You have to believe in it yourself.

    I see that they are in New York.

    I noticed because I recognized the buildings.

    There are two homless people, a man and woman.
  4. Why does the thing you mention in number 3 seem important?
    I think they are important because they are the people who get involved with the man with pockets.

    It was partially hidden because they wanted people to think he was thinking of an earlier phone conversation.

    In a paragraph describe a message that is communicated in this film.
    The message that is communicated in this film is that there are people in the world who have nothing but then there are doors that let you in or keep you out. When a door opens (a pocket) you can go through or stay back. When they want to keep you out, you burn it.
